Meet Beerwah’s friendly Artist and Photographer Ilia Starkovsky who studied photography at RMIT Uni in Melbourne and was employed as a photographer at the Weapons Research Establishment in Woomera South Australia, he also worked as commercial photographer and Manager of TRIGRAPHICS Photo Studio in Melbourne. Ilia met his Swiss wife Ursula overseas where he also gained extensive experience in commercial, industrial and technical photography in Great Britain, Europe and North Africa and later established “Photo Studio 8” specialising in advertising,commercial and catalogue photography of artworks and antique art.
Ilia Starkovsky returned to Australian and set up “Beerwah Photographics” studio and retail outlet specializing in portraiture, weddings and advertising photography, amidst the Glasshouse Mountains National Heritage Area on the Sunshine Coast/Queensland. Illia now works from his beautiful home in the Glasshouse Country.
