The Beerwah Waterhole is one of my favourite relaxing spots in Beerwah, known by locals as the “whirlpool” or the “washing machine” this venue offers a relaxing afternoon walk with the sounds and sights common along local creeks in this region.  The Coochin Creek flows from from the Peachester Basin, under Old Gympie Road,near the Walton Bridge and skirts past Beerwah State High school and the Beerwah Show-grounds but before it does so it flows though a few lovely shady pool very close to the Beerwah Town centre.

The Beerwah Waterhole Coochin Creek Whirlpool also known as the ‘Washing Machine’.

It does not look very much right now, but given a little rain (very much needed at the present time) it transforms into a attractive venue, local kids have also set up a rope swing which is a lot fun in summer, be careful of sticks and logs under the water, which is currently more shallow than usual.

It’s a little tricky to find but there is also pathway from the pools to the Cul de Sac at the end of Lindeman Road in Beerwah.
